Wow!

I cut my finger with a Gunting a couple of weeks ago, and only got four stitches. You win...

Lets see if I can answer all these questions
1. yep it did hurt something awful
2.God did make it a lot less damaging than it could have been,no tendon or nerve damage
3.Hi Normark My good freind came to the shop & I was showing him my kydex sheath and as I was talking to him I attempted to put the knife in the sheath with out looking  big mistake the blade ran across my hand & when it hit the bone I instintivley jerked & caused the second cut,(to the bone also:eek: )
4. wiped off of the Busse,it is some what caustic & I did not want to hurt one of my babies:D but I left a little on the sheath for posterity
5.The culprate this time was my Basic 9 ,I guess it was mad because I left it out of the Busse & Glocks Photo of show your combo(the Basic 9 in the pic is my smooth finish one)
6.7 stitches inside & 20 outside

Hey Nimrod lets start a best Busse injury contest!!!!!:D
Thanks for all the well wishing

Hey David..

Dang....:)

That makes complete sense..
I once did the same while final fitting a knife and jabbed it a good 3/8" into my hand...

I guess in this business when we work play with knives we are bound to get cut....

Thank God we don't have the same statistics when we work with guns!!!!! :)

I liked the idea DB's idea for the worst injury by a Busse contest. I'm brand new to the Busse line of blades. So far, a ZT NO and an AS are in the collection. Also, the only personal injury is a bunch of murdered hairs on my arm.;) (That ZT NO was scary sharp right of the box!) So thankfully, I am obviously not in the running. The only thing I pray for, is that there will be NUMEROUS Taliban vying for that award SOON!

Hey, I don't want to compete in THAT contest! Does the winner get a booby prize?

In my car club, a guy named Stan Bragg started an award for backing into something. Usually the party who backed over a garbage can (or Toyota) gets ratted out by his buddies, then at the next meeting there's a presentation from "The Stan Bragg School of Driving, where 'Reverse' is our motto." The "award winner" is thoroughly embarassed and a good time is had by all. (My wife got a special handmade inverted model Saab award when she rolled ours, but she somehow managed to keep secret the time she crunched the corner of a Tercel with the Class IV hitch on her K2500 Suburban.)

Maybe we need a special "safety knife" award, where the guy with the most impressive injuries is presented with a Busse that is 1/4" thick all the way across, the 1/4" thick edge being carefully rounded -- or maybe a "Nerf Busse." :D

What's the sense in having a contest if you already won?

Now if I were to win in advance, that would be a different story.

Seriously, best wishes and prayers for a full recovery.

Glad you are OK...I also think the picture gives a concrete reminder of what our "Toys" can do when we slip a little....take care!

My four year old daughter recommends a band-aid. According to her, you can't touch a knife or scissors because "there's shark in there".
