My CRK Small Sebenza Insingo w/Micarta arrived thursday via that awesome website where they used to be exclusive. Yes, you want to able to sign for this precious item. They claimed to leave a notice(that wasn't left) So when you go to the post office excited on friday to claim it with the confirmation email on cell, along with a picture I.D and drive home empty handed, it's frustrating! I missed it enroute. Could not pick it up later at it's scheduled time because of a prior engagement. I had to work today also. Post office closes at 3. I worked till 3:15. I work again till 5:30 on Monday!! I planned on this being my Father's Day gift to myself. I've been waiting a long time to hold my grail CRK. Oh well. Now I have to wait for tuesday when I am finally off. My poor Insingo sitting in it's box, by itself, in the dark. No one to claim her. Sad....:( Four missed chances.

Worth the wait.

Man that is some awful luck! Look at it this way, Tuesday is gonna rock!;)

I know how you feel my friend; curriers SUX. I have had things sitting for 2-3 days like that 10 miles away :-(
Like RR84 said, Tuesday is you day!!!!
Congrats on your grail!

All the knives I've purchased arrived quickly via Priority Mail, except for my most recent purchase. Just happened to be my Sebenza. Not quite as rotten luck as yours, but there's a direct relationship between the value of the item and the post office's ability to screw something up :D I hope you get your new Sebbie soon and enjoy the heck out of it...

Todays the day man! :thumbup::)

Let us know how you dig it, if you can put it down long enough to post;)

Yes! I'm excited. Sucks I had to wait after Father's Day for my gift-to-self. Oh well. I'm off every tues and wed with my boy. I told him how about we go pick up my new knife in the morning and get some McDonald's breakfast? He said, "awesome!" Funny how I used to watch Big Daddy and relate to the McDonald's breakfast scene. Wondered what it would be like to one day share the greatness of a McDonald's breakfast with a son. Now we get to share a CRK/McDonald's breakfast moment together! ha Nice.....

That's awesome bub. I get my boy Mon, Wed, Fri, and half days Sun. . .which means Tue, Thur, Sat, and half of Sun I work my butt off! :D

You guys have a blast tomorrow and we want pics when you can! (of the knife, not your McMuffin:p)

This used to frustrate the heck out of me. Fortunately, I used to live by the UPS substation store. Where the truck would go after door bell ditching my place. He would either ring and run, or he would not even bother to ring.

I would go wait by his truck like a stalker while he took a break inside the store..

Hey Patrick.
You don't know it but today is Father's Day! Exclusively in Wisconsin.
Enjoy the great day with your son and your new Seby.

Nice. Did he get upset or rude?

I had the exact same scenario as the OP, however, it was with a certified letter that needed to be signed for work (muy importante). I hunted down the truck and after I recevied my letter I told the carrier to actually "try" to deliver mail as opposed to writing a slip and leaving it at the door (people were in the office). He told me he didn't have time. I told him that if I had a choice in the matter, I'd never use USPS again. Ever.

Usually priority mail ships fast. As this did as well. I understand the needing a signature part...protects the seller and buyer. Wouldn't want a stranger walking off with one of our CRK's! It seems everyone at my post office is in slow motion. Another world....fake smile. Almost clinical setting like if you catch my drift! No offense to prior or current service memebers that are an employee. ;)

....And I love her! At first sight.....Sorry for the Droid pictures. Iphone soon...hmmm 4s or Iphone 5 rumored for this fall Octoberish release date?

So your the one who snagged that one real fast :). Congrates - thats a nice one.

Thanks. Yeah, I know. They don't seem to make anyone a priority. Now I want to find a good sheath or slip case. Not a huge fan of the CRK one for the price. hmm
