Those New Bedford people are dangerous ! A shooting - the BG wearing armor and carrying an M-16 , three dead ! Without those strict MA gun laws it could have been a lot worse !! George must be a tough guy to live there !!!

Yep!!! I keep a load gun in every room. I live two miles from the Foxy Lady Southshore Strip-Club. The Foxy Lady is the high end one compared to the Kings Inn. When I was in the MC Club we support the King Inn. HEHEHEHEHE!!!
We had a after hours bar in the club and on Fridays after 2:00AM you would always have a few stripper at the bar or in the members only room.:D   :jerkit:

Sounds like a hot Monday night! Welcome to urban life in a decayed city, eh, IG? Too bad. :(

Chicago had a good one late last week. A guy pissed at a law firm points a large envelope at a security guard in a highrise and tells him he has a gun. The guard escorts him up 38 floors and leaves the guy in the law office, where he proceeds to whack three people. Nice guard!

Chicago has strict handgun control........ meaning law abiding citizens can't carry. Security guards can't have guns. Helps keep the bad guys from getting shot. Criminals have rights, you know......:barf: :jerkit:

The scifi author Robert Heinlein wrote once, "People were a lot more polite when everyone carried a gun."

I'm with IG...keep 'em loaded and close at hand. I envy you folks in "carry law" states. It'd be nice to be legal.

That's why i LOVE Kentucky i got my concealed licenses but you can legally carry unconcealed with that bad boy on your damn hip if you want to. i was going through down town Louisville the other day after my father in law got out of the hospital there. It was dark and not the best part of town so i just pulled my coat back to let the gun show my necessary maby not but we wernt bothered either way. come live in a free state. the banjos and the incest stay in the eastern part of the state so you aught to be alright.

Doc, our great hope was to get the heck away from where we are when we retired and move to what I'd call a "friendlier" area. Plans changed with my health and the fact my wife's folks are not well and rely on her.

Someday, though, we may still be able to bail out and move elsewhere. It will definitely be a state where I am legally allowed to responsibly carry a gun. I doubt Illinois will ever be that state.

New Bedford has one of the highest murder rates in Mass. Where I live is next to a set of projects. In the summertime we have a few shootings. It's mostly gang related.I have my 1903 Springfield loaded so I can reach out and touch. HEHEHEHE!!!!

How did I miss this story?! Kinda glad the only time I've there it's with a few knives.

Good old New Bedford...
