Im looking for information on a knife maker i think his name is Daniel Beck. Acording to a friend of mine who attended one of Tom Brown Jr. survival courses, that there was a knife maker who offered his "Tracker" knife for sale to the students. He thinks the makers name was Daniel Beck any information on this knife or if this the makers name would be very helpful. I know "TOPS" makes a knife called the Tom Brown tracker but i am told this version is diffrent than the one that was offered when he attended the course.
 
Actually, I think the name of the person you are looking for is Dave Beck. I am not sure if he still makes the Tracker Knife or not. The only contact info I have is an address from a couple of years ago.

Dave Beck has officially stopped making the Tracker knife. I think I ended up getting one of the last few made in 1999. There are a few minor differences between the TOPS Knives version and the Beck version, but I am very happy with the Beck :)
