so far my experience with custom knives is fairly limited I have one is a cobbled Damascus made by Daniel Koster the other is a small three finger knife it drop point also made by Daniel Koster in o-1 and for other is a lynn Griffith of neck knife called a sniper it is made of cryo treated ats 34 all of these knives were obtained fairly inexpensively I got 2 in trades and one for under $100 the lynn what I am wondering not having tested them extensively what type of performance do you get from relatively mundane but still respectable steel when it is custom made and he treated as compared to production knives with steals such as VG 10 probably comparable or cpm s30v of which I have some knives mode in, or zdp 189 and the like in the productin maket.
