Daniel Krohn custom knives

No I didn't mean that, there are more now than there were a few months ago and he was by no means the first, but I think he was an early adopter. A lot of knife makers do not use it because it is so expensive and hard (literaly) to work with. I came across some of his work and thought his knives were excellent, not fancy, but solidly built to use. Has anyone seen or used any of his knives before? Can one of you "experts" check out his products and tell me if you think they are good?

One can see certain indicators of quality, but one cannot see a good heat treatment. The "check out" must include use and sharpening to be meaningful. You need owners and users of his knives.

Have you tried a Google search? That might get you to helpful reviews.

Thanks for the feedback Thomas Linton. There is nothing on him in Google except his web site. He seems pretty legit and claims he sends his knives out to BOS for heat treatment. Why don't you think his knives are heat treated? Well I went ahead and bought one of his knives, I will tell you how it looks once I get it.
