Most of you are familiar with Daniel's and Karen's historical tribute knives and hawks. They are on top of the pyramid with historically-appealing forged blades.

You may also know that Daniel has broadened his lineup to include hard working knives and axes that are offered to servicemen and others at a MUCH lower cost than his Mastersmith series pieces. They may be stock removal and have non-glorious finishes, but the designs are refined through input directly from the users.

He calls these works: Winkler Knives II

Apparently he is getting quite a demand for them, and deservedly so. They are doing hard work protecting and saving lives in all parts of the globe and here in the USA.

Daniel and Karen wanted good quality images of their full lineup. I was ready to help them at the NYCKS Show a couple of weeks ago, and we just finished doing a final shot of a group of them in my studio.

Here's what's in store:

There are distinct differences in all of them, suited to purpose.

I hope Daniel will come in and fill in the blanks. In the meanwhile, please enjoy the hardcore workers. :D

Great line-up. That field knife would make a very good do-everything blade. I'd love to hear more about the design of the Bontoc.

Beautifl. Absolutely beautiful. I love the hunters ax, but can't spring that many bones for it right now.

Wonderful images Coop! I'm in line for one of Dan's belt knives myself.

Those combat axes & hawks have really appealed to me since I first saw a photo of them (maybe in Blade Mag?). Would love to be able to see how one feels in-hand someday.

I have one of his belt knives and 2 of his axes, they whit me during the hardest parts of my days. By far the best knives and axes iv ever had.

If Mr. Winkler comes around. You should make a small EDC Knife; I’m thinking something like a compacted belt knife. Love you work, thanks again for the last axe I got from you, I love it.

The pictures and knives are so perfect it looks like they could be computer generated.
