Danish Oil on corian

I’ve made a kitchen knife handle of wood with details of corian. I want to soak the wood in Danish Oil …but does it risk discoloring the corian?

I would doubt it will affect the Corian. Corian is dense, stain resistant, and does not require sealing, ... so I doubt it will be affected.

If you have a leftover piece, just try it out. Even better if you have some leftovers from every material in the handle (that would otherwise end up in the trash), so you can put them together and see what the end result might be using that finish.
In general you can get a very good idea of how a finish might end up looking that way, and you'll never have to second guess again.

I used Pure Tung oil on a handle that had a Corian ferrule, and it had no darkening effect on the Corian at all.

Thank you all - I'll move ahead with my plan. Unless I post something else, other readers can assume the corian wasn't stained.
