Danny,

You’re not going to recant for starting a thread that distorts facts as the most charitable characterization?

There was one rape of a 13 year old, and the service member who was the ring leader and received the harshest sentence was not a Marine. I wish the assaults on SOFA children by Japanese nationals stood at only one.

The violent crimes, as reported and tracked by both USFJ and GOJ, are far more against U.S by Japanese nationals than the other way around.

The fact that media reports the majority of incidents happening out in town as being USMC and conveniently ignoring the fact of other service members presence and lack of USMC. I would check some facts about which service has the highest crime rate in Japan, it is not the USMC. As you undoubtedly already checked to see how the statistics are compiled on crime rates between U.S. and Japanese I am sure you will post a short tutorial

The violent crime rates for USMC are the lowest of the services, and all services are lower than the civilian populations.

If you cannot comprehend the between what is reported in the media and facts you have my sympathy.

You do know the difference between ex Marine and former Marine? You did know that the Texas murderer was convicted by the USMC and kicked out, had not seen combat other than being in one convoy that was hit, and all the other facts?

That the Ca. killing was gang related and he had not seen actual combat are also facts. He was being charged on other charges when this happened and was not scheduled to go back to Iraq.

Rusty did the right thing in locking down the last thread. Let's not start this up again.

Next topic, please.
