I`ve ground out a (gasp!) bushcraft blank! (There`s that evil word!) I`m considering offering these only in premium woods (ironwood, buckeye burl, redwood burl), with liners, and in a limited serial numbered batch, probably 10. I will see how it goes over when I show it later next week.

Well if nobody else is I'm still excited, now I know what to save my money for this month.

I'm curious to see how it will look. Part of me wants to get a blank at some point from you haha

I was just figuring on a full height grind, I've been noticing my other grind has not been doing well in the sales.

If they are going to be individualized is it out of the question to have different grinds depending on the user? It seems like you would be able to sell a few more if you did different colored liners and grinds that way it is customized to the user. Within reason of course I will understand when you tell me to jog off if I asked you to do a nightmare grind or chisel.

Yup! i love having a buschrafter blade for all my bushcrafting needs!! sometimes i cut sticks.

but really though, i can't wait to see your take on it.

I like blades that are simple and classic but I cannot wait to see your take on it as well, especially in redwood!

I think I solved the dilemma, I ground out two blanks, one full grind, one scandi. Heat treating Monday.
