Darex Work Sharp kicked out my expensive Tormek Grinder!!!

Purchased the Darex, received it last Friday. Tormek listed on eBay tonight. Using funds to purchase a quality belt grinder (Kalamazoo) when it sells. Pic related..

I have the T7 and would gladly do the same as you; only, I live in Europe and we got 220V (WS only 110V)! Too bad, I'd buy the Work Sharp in a heart beat!!
 
Just get a voltage adaptor. It's a transformer that changes your output voltage to 110v
 
I called them and they said it was not recommended, but yeah -- I'm sure that's just so that they won't be liable if anything short-circuits. I'll probably get the Harbor Freight one though, for a bit more serious grinding.

Yep, they say the warranty will be invalidated. I'm in the UK and run mine from a 12v battery with an inverter. Works well and can be used where there is no power supply.
