Anyone know anything about them, like;

What are some good set ups ?
Where to buy ?
Any forums dedicated to photo stuff ?

My daughter wants to get one set up, so I'm looking into it.

Here in the UK Nova provides a service to design a darkroom for you and if you buy up to a certain amount the designing is free...

Basically you've got to have running water...and total darkness...so first you have to figure out where're you gonna put that darkroom...
Next design it...

Best design usually separates the wet process and the dry process...so you've got 2 sides...

I'm not from the US so i don't really know where you could buy your darkroom equipment but i guess you could look it up in the yellow pages or online

here are a few websites on darkrooms

Check out www.photo.net. It's probably the best photo website out there.

You might want to look at Jobo rotary processors as opposed to open trays, too. I've been using Jobo processors for fifteen years and have used them for both color and B&W film and paper.

Give us a few more details on what it is that you want to be able to do with the darkroom. I might be able to offer more specific advice.
