Picked up one of these a few weeks, seems like a very nice blade. If I understand the contact properly, mine is akin to a 3rd Gen, after PK and Bark River lost their relationship (not certain of this, just what I remember reading between the lines, so to speak). No idea who HT'ed the steel. Anybody have or otherwise use one of these and have any opinions as to how well the steel is executed in this one? Thanks.cwd

LOL, go to some knife shows, go to Blade. Hang out with some knife makers and designers, get to know them pretty well. You may start getting the impression that Mr. Stewart is rather infamous for "losing relationships".

This. All day. Mike Stewart can not be trusted and his knives may or may not be in the steel advertised.
