I had to take my knife apart and clean it yesterday after cutting up some meat. While it was apart I decided to clean the scales with some 3 in 1 oil that i usually clean the blade with. It darkened up the inlays beautifully. I took a Q-tip to the sides so they would darken up too. I love the way it looks. You?

They do not feel oily at all after cleaning them off thoroughly, FYI. Nor is there any residue of any kind.

It looks really good! I'm curious how even the darkening will stay after use. Come back later and post more pics!

Yup! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
Always like my micarta dark on my Sebbies.

It does look nice.
After I clean mine up, they stay nice about two days:), let us know how they hold up.
