Darn it, they shipped a wrong knife :(

I got my long awaited SERE 2000 today - imagine my surprise when I found out it's fitted with the black blade? I fell in love with the knife though - everything about it is perfect (well maybe not everything, it's kind of hard to deploy fast - I gotta practice with it). But I do not like the black blade!!! I will arrange for an exchange or return the knife and buy it somewhere else... :(
 
Too bad, now you have to wait longer to get the knife you want. Waiting is always the hardest part of getting a new knife.
 
Gotta hate it when that happens, but look how much more anticipation there will be and how much more excited when the final correct shipment arrives! :)
 
Rival I too hate waiting for my knives to arrive, but if you send it back to the place you bought it they will probably obsorb all the shipping costs if it was their boo boo.
 
I'd stick with the people who sent the wrong knife, and not switch to someone else. First of all, it was probably an honest mistake, second, you don't want to have to deal with them trying torefund your money, which could be a headache all on its own. They will most likely do right by you, and like said before, absorb the additional shipping charges, and maybe even the original shipping charges, if you are polite about the whole thing.

Give them a second chance. And I hope the wait won't kill you.
