My latest acquisition from Darrel Ralph. 3" EDC: ti scales and D2M blade. I had asked for nuggeting and a two tone handle finish (bead blast the radius and satin the surfaces) and DDR came through for me again :) Imagine the Camillus EDC on steroids - same size but blade and handle stock are thicker. Thanks to my buddy Keith (nosamk) for snapping the pic.

Still wish I would have had the tripod; would have been totally crisp then. Very nice knife Dex!!

Dexter,

That IS a solid looking little sucker :) The Ti. finish is HOT looking too!!

Man Dexter, you have all the cool toys! I gotta work out another visit to WS to see this one! Enjoy!

Thank you for the comments, guys! I never thought I'd take to a 3" folder like this one as I usually prefer the 3.5" - 4" blade size range.

Jason, you are welcome here anytime my friend! :) Definitely have to swing by here before you ship off to Nica.

Dex-

You're killing me man...simply awesome!

I've found the 3" version to be "just right" for my tastes.

Gorgeous looking knife.I just love the nugget work and the anno job,It makes the knife look alive.

Dex, sorry I missed the show. I will try to make the next one. That is one awesome piece. I love it :D

Wow that is a beautiful knife. I really have to pickup one of Darrells knives someday soon

Dex

I need your job. Must pay WAY better than mine.

There are only two thing that I can think of that knife needs.

Some of DDR's "unfolded" Damiscus and my pocket.

Way cool knife!!!

That is a gorgeous knife Dexter! You lucky dog........:D

What is the thickness of the frame material? It definitely looks much beefier than the Camillus version.

Thanks Peter. The ti slabs are a little over 0.125" thick, and the blade itself is right at 0.125" thick. It is quite a stout piece. Since I have been carrying the Camillus version for a long time, I was used to the thickness of the knife. But when you hold the custom version in your hand it really fills the grip. It's very nice!

That is absolutely beautiful!!

Though I have plenty of custom fixed my DDR EDC is still the ONLY Custom folder that I own. No other folder has ever called to me like his EDC's!!

Again, that is a stunning knife. What a supreme package!

Thanks for sharing

Awesome knife Dex.., yeah that nuggetizing is something Darrel does. I have the Proto of the "Gemini" Balisong Darrel is working on.., and the use of the Nugget Tecture is just gorgeous setting off the length of the handles.., a very talented man! Thanks for the nice picture...enjoy your knife!
