Note... I have modified this knife. This means I have disassembled it and done things that will void warranties.

As a practitioner of FMA and a general connoisseur of edged weapons, I can honestly call this a combat folder. The general consensus is that folders are not fighting knives. This one is. The name Absence Of Doubt is no bull.

Tolerances on this knife are extremely tight. An indicator is the blade centering after multiple teardowns. It remained in the exact dead center as it arrived. These knives are built from solid 3/16" Ti slabs. The backspacer fits into a milled relief on the inside of either slab. T10 screws fasten into the spacer from either side. The stop pin seated into the blade tang is 3/16" which provides enough surface area to evenly distribute the stress of even my out-the-pocket draw. Another earmark of tolerances is the end of travel into the closed position clinks perfectly with the oversized ceramic detent ball.

As a combat knife, a recurve adds depth to a slash. This knife has just enough curvature to be effective, yet is still easy to maintain on a leather 2x72 belt. CPMs35vn blade was easy to strop to shaving sharp. Flipper provides enough integral guard to stab with confidence. Lanyard attachment point in the backspacer is pointy for "puño" strikes. Lock engagement is secure with the hardened steel lock insert.

That's a great looking folder Cm and the mods you did on it are nice as well. There's nothing like a custom knife customized for the person going to use it. That DDR folder looks like it fly's open very nicely as well. Thanks for the review and have a great day.
