Just took delivery of the best auto I have ever owned. Knife is perfect, as expected from Darrel, and his service was great.

Haven't worn the knife out yet, but I am trying hard

I highly recommend dealing with Darrel. An easier guy to deal with would be very hard to find.

Thanks Darrel, this one is a keeper!

At the risk of hyping some one whose work and person I have gotten to know.

One found it’s way to my front door this week

I am very happy with it. Hope you enjoy yours too.

Thanks Darrel.

Darrel,
NICE knife! I must admit something....You have inspired me to experiment with some Titanium texturing!!! AND more creative anodizing!!
Gus,
Thanks for sharing the picture!!

straightblastpfs hope you like yours as much as I like mine.

Way cool knife Gus. Didn't know you are a lefty. Check this one out. Millenum Apogee #2 with a few "special" additions.

Okay guys, enough already! You are doing nothing to help me pass the time until my EDC Dominator arrives

. I used to think that Darrel's knives were far to beautiful for everyday use. Not anymore though. As someone here on the forums quoted "Life's to short to carry a cheap knife". Words to live by IMO. I guess that is what you get for hanging around this place

Straightblast, can you post a picture? Lots of links to very nice Apogees here! I gotta throw mine in.

Glad you don't know the way to my house and that I got my Apogee back at BLADE.

Would have taken more than jerky treats at my house though. We have 4 Great Pyrenees dogs. Male is SMALL at 125#. The three girls are small also at about 90# each. But 400#'s of dog comming at you on a dead run sure gets the "pucker factor" up to about 110%.

You make a good point, Darrel. After all, once an artist perfects his art, he usually moves on. So, to keep you building these things, I will keep you on your search...the knife has some imperfections [but damned if I can find them]. How's that?

Seriously, it is exactly what I wanted in an auto...now for one with grooves in the handle, perhaps? haha

Great knife, great fun.

Been dying to add to this thread and finally got some picks up at Photopoint. The top knife is my new Damascus Apogee Illusion. The bottom knife is my 420V large manual action that has been my constant companion for the last year or so. My apologies for the poor quality, I am a beginner at digital photography (or any other kind for that matter):

Awesome, Harv! Does the Damascus pattern have a name? Looks like the bird dropping just missed you in the picture.
