I just got a DR AXD and I'm amazed at the build quality and detail. The more I look, the more I see. It's a S30 blade, it appears hollow ground on the belly of the blade for cutting ability, but at the tip, it's a chisel ground for strength and stab penetration.

The clip also serves as a hindering device so the frame lock doesn't bend outward from the scale.

Phosphor bronze bushing and absolutely no blade play. It opens like silk. I got it for my EDC but now I'm reluctant to carry it. I'll just bite the bullet and do it. Sorry for the poor quality of pics as my photo editor is down.

One final thing, Darrel is a great guy to deal with. He's a straight shooter.

I've seen this knifie twice before in pictures and everytime i do it gets more beautiful. I think i may have to invest in one for this christmas . thanks for the pics.
