Today I went to the Chesapeake knife makers show in Timonium and I tell you what I was not dissapointed. The first table I visited was with USAFSP and it was Darrel Ralphs table. I wasnt sure what I was going to pick up at the show but I when I made it to his table I saw 2 Gunhammers layin there one brown inlays and their new recurve style blade and the other a prototype with greenish blue inlays and the same recurve blade but with a series of holes and millings in th upper portion of the blade. Both were assisted. I picked up the one with the blue/green inlays and I fell in love, the look the feel the whole package felt just perfect. Well I had to walk away from that table for a bit to make sure I wanted to spend pretty much all my money on this knife but after walking around and feering its dissapearance I went up and with the help of my g/f I bought it. And I have not been dissapointed. The lockup is perfect with no play and perfect centering, just an amazing knife and as soon as I can get picks I will. The guys were great to deal with and made buying the knife all the more easier. The only thing I regret is not having the money to buy one of his balisongs, which were fantastically made in their own right. This is the first Ralph folder that I have owned and I know it will not be the last, this is just a tank of a knife and has to be held and seen to really appreciate. Jut thought I'd let you guys know, and I will post pics as soon as I can......
