Great Knife! Very hard to photograph (for me)..., but a very nice piece by Darrel. Here's a few more shots of the same profile with different handle treatment. Chuck's handles are nice and "grippy".., and Darrel calls them "TAC-II". The handles on mine are what Mr. Ralph calls..."Type-A-Carved".., and he also does an application with "Dragon-Handles" which is very nice also. When I can I'll take some "Dragon-Song" pictures.., they are neat!

The high-spots above the relief are simply gorgeous on these pieces, but I had a heck of a time capturing that adequately.

Here's the whole knife.., along with my little Sony ICD-67..

I tried to make verbal notes to share information about the DLC (Diamond Black) trade-marked coating BodyKote used, but the guy I talked to in North Carolina didn't speak "Dumb-Dumb"......, so my verbal notes are a bunch of acronyms and carbon chemistry that I'm sure make sense to a Doctorate level Metalurgist, but I got lost after...., "Well.., it's an upgrade to the classic Boron-Carbide coating.., and here's how it works...oi3j4t9083fgyw-9nqw-9rnv09nv9qnr-09qr8gyh-9qgha9dvndvnlkasnv p9qh." <~~~ roughly translated...

The link Chuck provides above to his site has lots of information regarding both this knife and others Darrel has done. Well worth looking at....
