My fold over clip has a long leg on one side to stop the lock on a frame lock style knife from over bending and causing vertical play in the blade .
If a person wants to remove the clip or carry the knife tip up you just move the lock stop into the position where the clip was. This will serve the same function as the long leg on the clip.
Gotcha. I noticed that long part of the clip that extends over the lock and I thought to myself "Why would you need a lock stop if that part of the clip is longer right there..." I didn't think about running the knife without the clip. Thanks, Darrel, and sorry for spelling your name wrong over and over again!
No problem wit the name spelling. It happend every day at least three times.
I get mail with it spelled birdwell .......:}.
Knifekits.com is now selling the lockstops for all that have interest.
