I shot an email to Darren last week about getting some cable to weld up. I've had a couple students here lately and they wanted to see how to do it.

I like cable damascus quite a lot, but got tired of the really dirty, nasty stuff I was getting for free at the local logging supply outfit.

Darren got me a bundle of it in the mail in a flat rate envelope and it arrived today!!!

First class all the way! :D

Darren is a great guy to do buisness with. All my dealings with him have been very positive. My dog bit him the last time he was at the shop, and Darren doesn't even hold a grudge!!! (don't feel special Darren, she bites most everybody) Bill
 
Nick keep me posted on the cable, I may come down to get in on it when you work the billet if it isn't too late already.
 
Darren et al are focused primarily on customer support and satisfaction. I've always felt comfortable doing business with those folks.

I should have my new 100 gal propane tank set this week
now I'll have to get the forge relined

Nick you can get new cable for a buck or so a foot..
it does have to be cleaned, it's soaked in rust inhibitor to keep it
from rusting you know ;)
 
Darren and his wife are top notch, I needed some ITC-100 a couple weeks ago. Called Darren, left a message, his wife called that evening and said it was on its way. couldn't have been any better service. I highly recommend them, AAAAAAAAAA++++++++ all the way.

I met Darren and Kathryn at the Blade show this year, darn nice people. I picked up some cable then just haven't had time to do anything with it. Looking forward to your results. :D

Well Darren true to form I'm way behind the eight ball too! :D I've also had great satisfaction buying supplies from Darren. A class act all the way. Thanks for great service and lots of stuff that's normally hard to find all in one place.
 
Ive dealt with Darren on many occasions, and had the pleasure of meeting him and his Beautiful Bride on several occasions. Top Notch folks in my book!!(even though he rides a funny looking bike!) ;)
