I've already got a baby dui churra...I think it makes a pretty good pack/survival knife. That Chitlangi is tempting, but I'm waiting for a Pen knife...

Heads up to any newbies,
If you're looking for a great "first khukuri", it would be hard to beat that BAS by Kumar. At 15 inches and 18 ounces, it'll do a considerable amount of work, without tugging your britches down when you hang it on your belt.

After all this talk of the AKB, I'm scratching my head over the fact that one is still sitting there for $85. I paid $175 for mine last year...

Cracked handle? Glue it and wrap it in 550 cord. The lanyard hole in the base makes an excellent starting point for a wrap. Then it'll be a tactical knife, doubling its monetary value. ;)
 
Dave if i wasn't holding out for a kumar made AKB, i'd be all over that sucker. Anything that good is worth having 2 of;) :thumbup: 175 is a steal for an AKB. 85 bucks for a hand forged love child of east and west?? come on, guys. No brainer there;)

I would get the Ak, but I do not want one with ANY problems with the grip...:(
But the others were exactly what I wanted...

I am going to e-mail anyway to see if she has another Sarge knife...

Just noticed it was an 8" Sarge!!! Is that a first??? I do not remember any before...
 
I'm destined to miss out on Sarge Knives and BGRS'... Someone jumped on that Sarge today wicked quick.
