I would have shot for the 18 with the extra length but same weight as 19. Good snag.
Thats a flawless looking Ganga Ram... If I had the extra cash I would have been on top of that one instead. I've read enough reviews on the KLVUK though to not miss out this time around.

EMS for Ganga Ram and Chitlangi. I didn't get neither. They were long Gone so someone saved me some $$$.

I had a feeling you'd go for the KLVUK...based on your previous reaction to same. I am between "funds" at the moment. I was fixing to go WWII or M43 but these KLVUKs have really got my attention. I like the harkening back to older times they seem to represent. Love this hobby!

Good score to whoever got the Ganga Ram and Chitlangi. I have the twins to each of them(same kami and size/weight) and can say that they are both amazing!

Yep, I'm looking for specific sizes, weights, and in specific types.. and also handle materials to a much smaller degree. This one was another perfectly spec'd khukuri on my list that just happened to show at the most opportune time.. :-)
Though I almost made a mistake, due to my inability to check and doublecheck what I write within emails. I'm glad Auntie was able to assist me in fixing it.

You'll hardly see me buy something random from these blems and specials.. but weirder things have happened, and I have been known to go against all personal convention at times.. haha..

It's been a good week so far!

What kind of a tang is on the...

19.5 inch 27 ounce villager fit and finish YCS by Keshar Lal?

Sorry fellers,

KLVUK #19 is mine all mine. Shipped today!

Think this is a good starter for my first HI kuk?
This is my new walking in the woods knife to clear the low-hanging branches and renegade Cherokee Rose bush tentacles from my favorite trail. Plus light campsite clearing...

Since nobody else jumped in... If I'm not mistaken, it's a full-length stick tang that is peened at the end of the handle. And it's a Cherokee Rose knife (the YCS must be a typo).
