I was thrilled to be invited to Tirtha Kami's home for the Dashain Festival.
The other Kamis joined the party and brought food and drink. Sgt. Khadka
also joined the festivities.

Tirtha's wife is a great cook and the foods she made for the party were very
tasty. Bhakta Kami opened a small bottle of drinks with a 12-inch
Ang Khola that impressed everyone. The Kamis only have Khukuris to open
their bottles.

I had a lot of fun at the Dashain party with the new Kamis. I will post the
photos here. Enjoy!

Which fellow is Tirtha Kami? He made my first Khukuri from HI and 'd like to know the face of the man who made my blade. That would be quite a privilege for me.

He is the one in the tan boonie hat opening the booze, also the one on the right in the 2nd pic.

I thought Tirtha was the man on the left in the second photo, the one with the mustache. Yangdu's text says that Bhakta is the one opening bottles with a 12" ang khola, which would be the first, fourth and fifth photos.

There were some other postings with photos identifying the kamis, but I can't find them at the moment.
 
What's the solo kukhri in the photo?
Also, it does appear that the gents know how to enjoy themselves!

Bhakkta is the one on the left in photo #2
 
You are correct David. Tirtha is the fellow with the moustache, and Bhakta is the gentleman with the tan boonie hat. I will search out the posting of the new super CAK that also has Bhaktas photo for comparison.
