Camillus USMC knife: Blade length 6.75inches; overall length 11.75 inches, stacked leather handle; reddish-brown leather sheath with 9 steel rivets; brass snap closure on circular leather band [secured to sheath with a steel rivet] to hold in top of handle; Camillus. N.Y and USMC on hilt [blade guard]. I think that it may have been made during WWII.

It's a WW2 Camillus 1219C2 pattern knife made later in the War for a Marine Corps contract. Camillus is the only one of the four manufacturers to produce guard marked U.S.M.C. Fighting/Utility knives.

Thank you very much for the information. Do you have any idea what the knife might be worth? Bill

Condition wise the blade has been sharped quite a lot and the original profile just isn't there. I wouldn't think it would go for that much.
