Date for this Buck?

Green plastic handle with Bucklite printed in it. Blade is stamped BUCK 422 USA. The blade is 3" in length, knife is 7" overall.


Roughly when were these made?

Cool knife the 422 Bucklite, mine has a black handle.

I'm struck immediately by the similarity to the Imperial 5715.
Any inter-manufacturer co-operation here?
I posted a similar question about this a few months ago, and one poster
felt there was no connection at all. Could be just that great ideas
quickly spread.

Nice little knife here, but the blade is nowhere near what the Bucklite seems to have.
