Date question...

I was looking at a CRK online, at what I think is a reputable dealer, and noticed the birth date on the card is different from the date on the box.
It's only a 10 day difference, but with my limited knowledge, it threw up a red flag...

Is this normal for them to not match ?

I didn't think about that. It's a small white sticker on the end of the box that has the following info on it...

The date on the box doesn't mean anything as far as CRK goes, Like Justin said, it's for the retailer's inventory/stock purposes only
Not all CRK dealers mark the boxes with a date.
It's all good!!!!
Quit stalling, just buy the damn knife and take the plunge.:D
 
Yeah I'm 99% sure that is not from CRK. Dealer info for inventory control or something. I've also seen some collectors date the box but I always just put my receipt inside.
 
Well at least you're ok with the sticker being on the box. I remember a guy on here a year ago or so, and he had a temper tantrum because the dealer put a similar sticker on his box. Something about "ruining his investment" or something:D:rolleyes:

Good deal. Thanks... I actually finally bought my first CRK at 3 a.m this morning :D I just haven't gotten around to starting a thread yet, but after lurking here for quite awhile, asking questions, and always saying I'm getting closer, I will be doing it soon.

The knife in question is another I might grab lol. I was having a really hard time deciding between the two, but because one is very hard to find, I grabbed it while I could. From none to two or three in less than 24 hours probably isn't a good thing :eek:

Thanks. I always do the same thing, otherwise I will end up losing it :D

Geez lol... Yeah it doesn't bother me. It's a small sticker and at least they put it on straight :D Besides, I didn't even know if it was supposed to be there or not :D
 
Mike, you're really gonna tease everyone about the "harder to get CRK" and not post a pic or let us know what the second one is ????

:D I'll start a thread here shortly. It's not as hard to get, or truly rare like many that are posted here, but I've been waiting for one to pop up for awhile.
