Date Stamp Question

Just received a beautiful, new to me, Large 21 LH Insingo with silver thumb stud and black canvas micarta inlays. Gorgeous. Looks and feels like a Sebenza. Came with all proper paperwork, box, birthcard and grease. Wrench and cloth too.

My only concern is that the birthcard says Dec. 2018, and the stamps inside the frame say A-18 on the lock side an B-18 on the face. I've not seen a mismatch on my other 3 Sebenza 21s. Should I be worried?

This is fairly normal. Parts are made in batches and it's usual to see a fairly large spread.

Yup, I’ve had plenty with mismatches, some second hand while others directly from CRK.

As the others have said, not at all. I have one that's a full year apart, and I know it's all original.

Perfectly normal. I have seen them a year or more apart even. Seemed to happen more in the days of old than now, but it still happens.
