Dates of Manufacture of the Ecco

Does anyone know the dates when the Buck Ecco models were made?

The Ecco was a two bladed knife made in Japan. I think there were two models, one larger and one smaller. I appreciate the help.
 
Thanks for that. I had no idea they were ever made in the USA. I thought all were made in Japan. Mine is great quality and I have enjoyed owning and using it. It really has a great cutting geometry. These knives are right hand only, though.
I see them selling for $99 and much more, now. So, I am a bit afraid to carry it. I think I only paid something like $20 or $25 for it. I have the 3 inch (2 3/4).

So, 2001 to 2003. I wonder why they never caught on? It is a great knife and better than some of the stuff being put out now.
 
I bought a small one on ebay about two months ago and paid about $25. They are well made.
