Can someone tell me if what I've been able to find is correct?
I understand how to determine the age of a 119 by it's tang stamp and spacers.
Do those guidelines applie to all Buck 100 series fixed blades such as a 102 and 105?
Also do all the 100 fixed blades with 4 spacers made up to 1980 have 440c blades?
I'm sure it's been discussed on here before but i can't find any previous threads.

Thanks you in advance

The guide lines apply to all 100 series fixed blades, and yes they were made of 440c. Some of the guide lines in the 119 and 120 differ a bit, but for the most part are the same. When I say the guide lines differ, I mean the change over from 4 spacers to three spacers didn't happen all at the same time. The 119s and 120 changed earlier, In my opinion based on the availability of the four spacer, three lined blade stamp (blade pointed up). These two models are hard to find in this configuration.
