Guys: Over the past few months, in search of a good user stockman, I picked up a couple of used 34OTs on a popular online auction site. Both had "issues" but were less than $10. I'm wondering how old they are. Here is what's on the tang stamp of the main blade on the first knife:

SCHRADE
N.Y. USA
34OT

And here is what's on the tang stamp of the main blade on the second knife, which seems to be the newer of the two:

SCHRADE
USA 34OT

According to the info I have both stamps were used from 1973 to 2004.

Not much help!

Thanks a bunch, guys. The "USA 34OT" one came with the tiniest bend on the tip of the sheepsfoot blade. I was able to file it out in just a few minutes. Other than that and some staining and surface rust, it was a damn near mint knife. Seriously - it was like some guy bent the tip of the blade the same day he bought the knife, then just tossed it on a shelf in his garage where it sat untouched until it got posted on the 'bay. I wiped off the rust, sharpened her up, oiled that joints and now I have a great user stockman for a grand total of less than $10! It's shameful to admit, I know, but this is my first 34OT.
