dating a schrade 171 uh

I have a schrade 171 uh with brass pommel and the serial number is 00815 have had
since the late 70's. I was trying to nail down an approx production date.
any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank's in advance.

A quickie web search says:
"They were introduced 1971.
From 1971 to 1973 they had a birds head pommel. Starting in 1973 they changed to a flat pommel.
The 171UH was discontinued in 1983, but re-introduced briefly and are in the 1990 and 1991catelogs."

This one has the flat brass pommel. Just wondering with that low of serial number if this a first run of the 73's
