 Not dating as in romantically ! :p

Is it possible to find out when this knife was made ? I believe i bought it in the mid 70,s as a teenager and im curious to find out what i can about it.

Thanks,Fog

Tough to determine exact year on a Schrade. Describe the tang stamp, front and back if applicable. Two or three line stamp? Is the nail nick on the clip a straight pull or is it a match strike pull? Original packaging helps, but usually unavailable. Likely the information won't do much more than verify your original statement, mid-70's.

Also, brown boxes were from one era, blue, from another.Try the Schrade collectors.......

These are on the main blade on the logo side, i dont see any other markings but it is more than a bit patinaed, im hesitating to clean it up as i dont know the best way to clean it

Hard to tell Fog.

In 1973, Schrade quit using WALDEN in the stamp, and went to SCHRADE / NY USA with 8OT on the back of the stamp. Next they moved 8OT to the front, making it a three-line stamp, and finally, removing NY to become to the two-line stamp you describe.

Frankly, I would guess the stamp you describe being post 1976, but I do not know when the 8OT changed to that stamp. Some patterns did use that two line stamp in 1976. The stamping was inconsistent from pattern to pattern.
