Thought Id motivate some to get out even if its close to home. Daughter got out in a very crowded river front walking trail but I got some not so crowded time with daughter and a few surprises.

Saw deer tracks, river otter im 95% sure. Lots of Swirling and what looked like 3 turtle heads in a triangle when floating on back before going under and back up with the swirling. HAD TO BE AN OTTER! Nose and 2 hands out Im thinking.

Spotted a heron (Blue I think) and with combination of my cheap 7 power binos got a picture!!.

Thanks man. UBOB fixed blade in pack. Friction folder in pocket.

Great pics Brian, that rustic looking cabin looks awesome, wish I could move in :D Your daughter is also very adorable, looks like a great time! But yeah, there should have been some B. Goode-ness in there! Knife shots are always welcome

Looks like you two had a good time. Daughter is adorable, great to see her getting out.

Yeah. Were aight :)
Today is 7 year wedding anniversary also :)

Thanks bud! Without her I'd never have gotten this far making knives for sure.

Great shots, and your kid is so cute that now I miss mine even worse (Wife took them to FL to visit Grandma). Amazing shot with the binocs too, that's some photoninja action there!

Your daughter is adorable, a real sweetie pie. Looks like a beautiful place for a walk. My kids are all grown up, and my grand children live quite a distance from me. If they were near, we would take walks like that. Thanks for the pix.

great post -what a day! is that your cabin?
Otters & wildlife -doesn't get much better.
cheers.

That cabin is know as the Pfeiffer Cabin. Made in 1850 and has V notched timbers. Pretty cool. Mot mine though.

This picture is awesome. Whenever you wonder if the next generation is going to take care of our outdoors and carry on our interests, take a look at this picture and think, "Oh yeah. It's in great hands."

Great post man, looks like you guys had a great time. Enjoy it as much as you can while you can, before you know some boy will be stealing all her hanging out time.

Your right Mist! That's why I bought the crew cab pack. So geneous in design. As she gets older I can still open up my main area and sandwich her or the wife's stuff inside and everyone is happy.

That's what it is all about, spending time with the little ones. Glad to see you out having fun and it looks like your daughter was enjoying it also.
