My daughter gets back from a trip from France and Switzerland, and brings me back a wood handled Wenger... and... a chocolate Victorinox knife :)

Thanks, guys :) She knows nothing about pocket knives and such... But, while there in Switzerland, she asked around to see if she could find me a knife to gift me. Her intention was to find a decent antique knife, but her limited search turned up nothing (she was there on business, so her free time was limited). While checking out a store with Swiss Army knives, the sales lady helped my daughter out by answering some of her questions. She told my daughter that the Wenger knives out were the last ones, and that the walnut handled versions were less common, and therefore would be more desirable to her dad (because I collect knives). Totally did not expect her to bring me back a knife. I would have cherished anything my daughter would have given me, but her effort in the thought behind it, makes it that much more special. Love this thing... and now Wenger is represented in a special way in my knife collection :)

that's a very considerate gift. The Wengers will start going up in price in the next few years I guess, I wonder if Victorinox will assimilate their various design innovations to their line, e.g. the locking caplifter, and blade. I think that vic you've got their is definitely meant as a user :)

That's really cool that she did that. The chocolate aspect is something not put into many knives before, if all else fails you can survive by eating your knife!

Jimmy, what an outstanding gift - what an outstanding daughter! OH

lol!... I don't know, should I add that chocolate knife to the display case.... hmmmm?... Nah, it will certainly go down the hatch ;)

:D But see if you can unwrap it without tearing the foil. Then frame it.
