Is this correct?

California:

The Governor of California is jogging with his dog along a
Nature trail. A coyote jumps out, bites the Governor and
Attacks his dog.

1. The Governor starts to intervene, but reflects upon the movie
"Bambi" and then realizes he should stop; the coyote is only doing
What is natural.

2. He calls animal control. Animal Control captures coyote and
Bills the State $200 testing it for diseases and $500 for Relocating it.

3. He calls a veterinarian. The vet collects the dead dog and
Bills the State $200 testing it for diseases.

4. The Governor goes to hospital and spends $3,500 getting
Checked for diseases from the coyote and on getting his bite wound
Bandaged.

5. The running trail gets shut down for 6 months while Fish &
Game conducts a $100,000 survey to make sure the area is free of
Dangerous animals.

6. The Governor spends $50,000 in state funds implementing a
"coyote awareness" program for residents of the area.

7. The State Legislature spends $2 million to study how to better
Treat rabies and how to permanently eradicate the disease
Throughout the world.

8. The Governor's security agent is fired for not stopping the
Attack somehow and for letting the Governor attempt to intervene.

9. Additional cost to State of California: $75,000 to hire and
Train a new security agent with additional special training re:
The nature of coyotes.

10. PETA protests the coyote's relocation and files a $5 million
Suit against the State.

Arizona:

The Governor of Arizona is jogging with her dog along a nature
Trail. A Coyote jumps out and attacks her dog.

1. The Governor shoots the coyote with her State-issued pistol and
Keeps jogging. The Governor has spent $0.50 on a .45 ACP hollow
Point cartridge.

2. The Buzzards eat the dead coyote.

Is this why California is broke?

.

Would saying F**K PETA cross the no politics line?

Sad but yes.....it is one of the many reasons we are flat dead broke!

Our politicians at their finest and worst. The Cali gov stopped for some fruits and nuts on the trail I am sure.

i tried jogging once, but with my AR, a 48 quart cooler and my 45 i soon found out jogging wasn't for me. so i got a 4-wheeler and upped my cooler size to a 100 quarter and was able to not only bring the same weapons but a crapload more ammo and extra ice!

i may even go down and get a job with the AZ border patrol!!!

.

That pretty much tells it like it is! :D

I might add that recently the Governor of California admitted he was afraid to come to AZ to give a graduation speech. He said he was afraid that because of his accent, we would deport him!!

(No kidding!)

I'd have to list the above in my top reasons "Why I Love Idaho".

Similar vein--when my brother was attending the University of Texas Medical School at Galveston, he pulled some late-night time at the library and the walk home was quite a long way. Didn't have a concealed carry permit, so sometimes he carried a short-barreled Mossberg 12 ga. pump, outfitted with a pistol grip, by a sling across his back. One night a cop stopped him as he was walking home after midnight and asked what the hell he thought he was doing. When my brother replied that he didn't know of any laws against carrying a shotgun as long as it wasn't concealed, the cop scratched his head and said, "Well, please don't do that again--you'll have the neighbors around here calling us every five minutes..." then gave my brother a ride to his house.

I wonder what would have happened in California.

Maybe they should. ;)

The governor here in AZ doesn't get a state issued carry piece. She's gotta buy her own, just like everyone else! She might get ammo from a departrment somewhere, but it would most likely be .40 cal. She'd have to special order another caliber through the capitol polce dept. to get ammo as low as 50 cents a round!

Forty-five shmortyfive, our governor has a TANK and your doesn't :p
