Two of the nicest I have seen of his.

Thanks for the eye candy Dave and Steven. I think I'll just sit back and stare at them for a while.

Thanks buddy, for posting.I just received these beauties from Henry. The all gold one has a 3" Blade, handle scales are from an antique brush. Henry work hardens the gold and this has to be the prettiest Frank I have seen.
The large Dagger has Mastadon Scales, blade is 4",9" overall! Henry frenchgreyed the blade and engraved the solid gold bolsters, pins, etc. Solid gold liners and the blade stock is substantial, quite a piece of work.
Hope that you enjoy them
Dave

1) STeven posting pics--his or anyone else's--makes me feel like I'm in an alternate universe ;)

2) Thanks Dave for continuing (resuming?) this tradition. It's great to be able to see some of the top-flight work out there.

3) Both beautiful pieces but that large dagger has me absolutely floored. The blade engraving is simply stunning, and French grey is fast becoming my favorite treatment.

A great weekend tradition indeed! Thanks for sharing those fine knives.

STeven,

When I first saw these knives I thought that you were finally starting to share photos of your collection. Maybe someday.

Dave,

Great knives as usual.

Steven - I completely dropped the ball on Dave, what with the job search and all. I'm glad you're picking it up. Dave is extremely generous in sharing his wonderful collection with us.
