I've been real curious about his blades for years and just lucked into these two...have to say...Wow! I think these are the sharpest blades I've ever received. I can't tell you how they went through paper and the photos can't capture it...I'm amazed...my spyderco's looked at these and said "dang, now those are sharp!" ;)

I'll tell you too, that small chopper held it's own easily with my bigger Camp Tramp..amazing!

Those are beauts. Mind if i ask what you payed for the little(r) one? i've been looking to get a custom that size for camping.

Yes DFarmer's knives are just about the sharpest thing I've ever received out of the box short of a Feather razor blade. The are simply amazing.

Just wanted to add this pic. I'm prepping a pernil (pork shoulder) and opening up the skin/fat. My Scrap Yard muk is better than a bunch of my kitchen knives, but the Farmer went through this like nothing...wow...I've over spent a bit this month and was thinking of letting it go...not!

Customs are supposed to be sharp once you get them so that's not really a surprise...

I do like that small knife design, nice trailing point. :)

Well, most of my customs have been Koyote's and Fiddlebacks and are plenty sharp...these are...extra...and I am surprised! They are on another level of sharp!

Thank you! They are amazing!

Add: Post oven Farmer usage... ;) :) yumm....

I've got several fine examples of David's knives and every single one of them is exceptionally sharp. Great knives!

Farmer knives cut like lasers, if you haven't used one you just can't appreciate how sharp they come.

I was also impressed with the edge on my DF forged knife in L6. Seems like a thin flat grind and convex secondary polished bevel. Amazing performance for an otherwise unassuming utilitarian knife.
