Dave/Goose, knives delivered to Soldiers today

Guys,
I put your knives into the hands of some young Soldiers today. They were very happy to receive them! Young guys just in, first combat tour. I also kicked in the Buck Goliath that I had here to one of them.

I printed out this website address in case they wanted to say thanks or post an update down the road. Would be neat to hear from them at the end of their tour.

Going to be rough here in the next year, I wish them the best!
 
I hope they do let "us" know how they like the knives and what they are using them for. Being retired AF and working with the Marines, with a nephew that is a Marine, I keep track of the military.
 
I think that was a wonderful thing to give those Soldiers a Buck knife.....Semper Fi.............:thumbup:

I really don't talk much about those days, did and seen things I don't want to remember, I will say I took a buck 120 with me it was not USMC issue and keep it on my side the 18 months I was there even slept with it. Still have the knife would not take a million dollars for it.
