Folks,
This one made an appearance a couple of months back. As stunning as it is, it deserves a return show engagement.
(Dave goes by the cryptic name 'Dakcon' on BF.)
Dave was kind enough to allow me to photograph this for him over the weekend, as I was set up in Vegas for a smaller show. Like it's brother who we are using for our upcoming 'passaround photo contest' knife, it has everything going for it, and it all works in symphony.
Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to present to you once again, "Dave Kelly's 'Mammoth Peacock' folder...!"
His specs:
Name : " Mammoth Peacock "
Knife # : 18
Date completed : 12.14.04
Blade : 3 1/8" 1095 / 15N20 Peacock pattern damascus with opal /
anodized titanium thumb stud
Bolsters : Etched and lightly antiqued 3 metal mokume
Scales : Mammoth ivory
Back spacer : Rope file worked damascus
Liners : .63 textured / anodized titanium
OA length : 7 1/4"
Coop
