This is an integral hunter I made a couple of years ago that Coop just photographed. The blade is motorcycle chain and 1084 damascus with walrus ivoy handle scale and nickle silver pins. This was my second damascus knife so the patern didn't come out as great as I had hoped it would. Dave loves it though and that's all that really matters.

Thanks for looking.

Jason, that sure is a beauty ;) I can see why Dave would love it. I really like the way you did the handle. the damascus looks good to me. :D

I've never seen anything like that - great idea and nice execution!

Fantastic work, very elegant and unique. You could do some very cool variations on that one. What is the overall and the blade length? Thanks for sharing.

I don't have the measurements but I think the blade is around 4" maybe 8.5 oal? It's in the mail right now on it's way back to Dave so we'll have to wait until he can measure it when it gets home. :)
Originally I came up with this idea for a mediteranian dirk. My billet wasn't big enough for that so this is what I ended up forging out of it. One of these days I am going to make that dirk though. :D

Fascinating ! and I really like that sparse damascus pattern too. Great work. I can see a range of nice variations of this pattern from you. Jason.
