A few weeks ago Dave and I did a little horsetrading. I ended up with the coolest spike knife ever made, and Dave got a couple of sheaths, the first of which you see here. I'll let Dave fill in the details on the knife, now for a shameless plug!
The making of this sheath can be seen on my first instructional video,"Basic Rawhide Sheath Construction", which hopefully will be ready for release by mid spring!

Wonderful package. Congratulations on making that Video, you should be really proud that will be able to share your knowledge with so many other Makers.

Great job.

Great pair, John and David.

Good looking hunter, and tell more about forge-welding the bolsters.

John, the sheath looks mysterious and filled with power!

John

John I used my induction forge I put a small MIG weld to hold them in place used flux and light smack with a hand hammer they did very little moving so I will try it again on a blade that i have a little time into next time this was my first try.

Knife and sheath make for a great package, and the video sounds like a great idea.

Both knife and sheath create a very fine package.
Really like the colors in the sheath. Fine photos as well.
