This is one sweet BP.

Nice pictures,too.

James,
Are you sure that is a gargoyle ? I thought it looked like a Mt. Man
Thanks Again James,
-Vince

That looks like the wife before she's had her morning coffee.

Very nice looking sheath and knife James.

Kind of puts me in mind of the representations of the Green Man or those carved wood spirits.

Mike,

When I first saw it I thought it was a portrait of my ex-wife, still not convinced it is not,

James

Whatever it is,it is a handsome masculine BP,and the CPM M4 blade is ground so thin,it is razor sharp, quite the slicer.

Vince, that's how she looks after she shaves in the morning. Better send me one of your Kreins to do a better job.

James, that image on your knife is probably a bad reminder of your ex wife. Better send it to me.

I would love to handle one of Davenport's knives.

Does anyone actually carry these back pocket knives in the back pocket? It sounds like an excellent way to lose a good knife.

I've been carrying a knife in my back pocket for over 40 years next to my bill fold and never lost one. That's why I call it a BackPocket knife.

To all,
Thanks for all the kind comments, Jake does a great job and Paul Long's work complimented it quite well. This knife has been carried in my front, back, cargo and shirt pocket. It is one used knife.

Mike,
I like the idea of putting my ex's face in my backpocket and sitting on it, since I burned all the photo's.......lol. This is one sweet knife, you need to get on his list.

James

Nice! Did he dome the pins on that knife? Also, looks like the thong tube sits a little proud of the handle as well...is that what I'm seeing?

His swedge is interesting in the way that it cuts into the ricasso. Unique.

As far as losing knives goes, my cell phone has popped off my belt before unknowingly and it got chopped up by a Kabota :o . It seems more likely to lose a knife pouch with knife inside(in this case, it would be a great find!) than it would be to lose a knife out of a pocket. I have no imperical data to back up this theory:rolleyes:
