Many custom knife enthusiasts are familiar with David Broadwell and his stunning sculpted art knives . He has recently started making custom fountain pens as well, and the style is very recognizable as David's work. I thought I'd share a few links to his work...

Here's a good article (with gorgeous pics) by Stylophiles Online Magazine.

Here's a link to some past works, and a link to some current stuff.

Wow!! Just what I need - another hobby to spend my money on.

Senator,
yep, David Broadwell and Grayson Tighe make gorgeous pens! I've also found that quite a few fountain pen fanatics are knife collectors too.

I know that several forumites are FP users. I carry a Pelikan 400 and an Aurora Ipsilon; what is everyone else writing with?

Yup.., knives.., watches .., and fountain pens...arrrrrrrgh! Too much neat stuff...

Broadwell's fountain pens also write very nicely..., besides being gorgeous!

I've been a pen bug ever since I saw the "magic" 4-color Lamy 2000, probably around 1978. I became disillusioned with fountain pens for daily use a few years ago and sold most of mine--just kept my very favorites. I buy mostly rollerballs now, as they cope with the real world like a ballpoint, but have some fountain pen "feel" to them.

Here's what's in my pen drawer(s)...

Vintage:
Parker Vacumatic Maxima (2)
Parker 75 fountain and BP
Sheaffer PFM 1 and 3

Newer stuff:
Waterman Edson BP, LeMan 100 RB, Opera RB
Dupont Orpheo RB
Jorg Hysek RB
Monteblanc Meisterstuck 149 FP, LeGrand RB, Pencil, Highlighter
Lamy 2000 FP, 4 color BP
Montegrappa Micra BP
Fisher space pens--at least half a dozen, various types
