I agree Brian. He is another one who can do it all. Excellent maker of functional as well as artistic work. The lines and touches that David puts into his work always get to me. (does not matter if it is one of his folders or fixed blades.)

Thanks Spark, Ken and David

Les, LMAO.

There are a handfull (not that small of a handfull

) of makers whose knives I would love to own no matter what type of knife it is. David is one of them. (There are a few Bas**** that hang around here that I feel the same way about.)

He is an artist in all aspects as well as a good person to work with. What really strikes me the most on his art knives, is that he knows exactly when to stop. His carving style (blade and handle) always blows me away. If he goes any further, the knife gets to busy. Any less and the lines change drastically.

I do not own any of his work yet (but I hear the TKCL collaboration of David and Bailey Bradshaw is coming along well, so it will not be long). I do have more than a few friends that do own some of his work all of it reeks of quality. Including his tactical knives.

Les, I have you and Bob to thank for the first time I met him (Sharp Show '97).

Thanks guys , If I was a little smarter with this computer I could have posted the pix and talked about it at the same time however this was not the case and after a week of screwing arround I asked Spark to help me out .. Thanks Spark!!

Ya,I just wanted to brag about my new David Broadwell knife . is'nt it a beaut? That guy sure can build them Fossil walrus with bronze and Nick Smolen damascus .all sculpted and personalised with a little Onion to boot .I examined this thing thoroughly and have to say I can't find a flaw either he's that good or he knows how to hide them,Great job !
My next task is to talk Karen Shook into building a killer Indian bead work sheath to compliment the knife and I'll have the ultimate man jewelry .Perfect for showing off while cruising on a Road king on a lazy sunday.
Is'nt it great to have a place to share our toys and excitement ?

Aloha!!! Ken Onion

I sure would like to see more of his work. Does he have a web site?? Or does anyone feature his knives?

Bo,
Check out Les Robertson's site (see url in his signature in the post above). He's got some beautiful pieces featured, several for sale.
