For those who may not be too familiar with Buy Brown. David is known for his knife sheaths, but he is equally renowned for his holster making. Here is one holster that David made for me. He included a retainer strap which I requested. This is an unusual request for a kydex holster .

I am rather pleased with the results:)



The tec-loc system allows to easily slip on/off the holster. Solid lock up...

Indeed. One thing that I didn't expect was the retainer strap material. It's a supple rubber. At first I feared that it would hinder proper draw and re-holstering. It doesn't in the least. I went through several holster straps, in the years since I've begun shooting. I believe that this "rubber" strap will outlast The material used in many holsters (synthetics???, some leather).

The Rubber strap is actually boiler gasket material very strong stuff, I make all of my straps out of it.
Its been battle proven on the thousands of Hawk sheaths in a dry desert environment :)
