This is the knife David has been working on for me for the past couple of months. It's really an extraordinary piece........ Beautifully hand finished and as smooth as silk! It also has a unique innovation, from Reese Weiland, that incorporates a pillar of 'rubber' in each handle that contact the knife kick on each side of the blade to cushion during manipulation and tension the handles when latched....NEAT!!! Mr.Gollnick probably won't like this addition because it makes the knife ALMOST SILENT when manipulating. The blade itself is an excellently ground and finished 4" clipped Bowie riding on custom pivot pins between thrust washers on either side. It also has beautiful iridescent shell inlays on each side of each handle. It's a beautiful and very functional butterfly in the finest of the Miller tradition. If any of you are truly in the market for a custom bali, I would get with David and see what he's got to offer. Hope you enjoy the pics.......

Thanks Dawkin for that great review. A lot of time and work went into your knife. It did end up with several innovations, making it very different from other balis around. I was proud of its silent manipulation (sorry Gollnick). It makes it sort of a "ninja" bali !! haha. You could sneak up on someone, do a few flip opens, and slice em up with it and they wouldnt know what hit em. Just kiddin.

Anyways, this knife was a lot of work. Now that I completed his, the next one should take a lot less time to complete. However, Im currently doing LCC customizing, and dont want people to wait forever on them. I do have handles and a couple of blades already cut, I will let you know when Im ready to complete those for someone.

Thanks again, I wish more people could use Ron Miller/Reese Weiland/David Brunner colloboration bali!!

High polish blade, Micarta handles with anodized screws, at a very reasonable price
