Anyone hear of these? Where are they made? I bought one for use as a bushcrafting knife. It is japanese carbon steel, full tang, and has a very good blade shape for my purposes. However I was wondering about the quality.

One of my cooks bought the Bread knife on sale at a major department store for $10. The handle seems to be a laminated wood, the type of steel and place of origin were not displayed. The serrations were brutally deep and tear more than most bread knives on soft fresh bread although it worked fine for croutons with bread that is not as delicate . Not bad for 10 bucks

I really enjoy bushcrafting. I saw the 7" chef's knife and thought it would be good for that purpose. Carbon steel, full tang, and a really useful blade shape (almost parang like) make it a really good knife for that purpose. It is on the thin side, but I have back up knives. I was wondering if anyone had any forge info for them? Where are they made? I have the contact info for the distro team on teh packaging, but nothing else.
